Service Provider Standards
Quality and compliance requirements
Holiday PA Service Providers are expected to meet all applicable standards and requirements before their profile is published on the platform, and must continue to uphold these standards after their profile goes live.
Holiday PA will determine, in its sole discretion, whether a Service Provider's profile meets the following standards and requirements. Meeting these requirements is not a guarantee of approval or continued publication. All Service Providers must also comply with Holiday PA's Terms of Service, the Terms for Service Providers, and any applicable Community Guidelines or policies. Certain types of services may be prohibited or restricted on Holiday PA in accordance with our policies.
Requirements Before a Service Provider Profile Is Published
Holiday PA carefully vets each Service Provider profile before it is published to ensure quality, safety, and compliance. In order to offer services on Holiday PA, you and your profile must meet the following criteria and requirements:
1. Service Provider Criteria
Identity Verification and Background Check:
You must complete Holiday PA's identity verification process. Holiday PA uses integrated third-party software to verify your government-issued identification and, where applicable, eligibility to work (such as work permits or visas). You may also be required to undergo a criminal background check or other vetting processes. This verification must be successfully completed before your profile is approved.
Licences and Certifications:
You must hold and maintain any required licences, permits, insurance, or certifications appropriate for the services you offer. For example, if a certain service requires a professional licence (such as catering, driving, childcare, etc.), you are expected to possess and keep that licence valid. Holiday PA may require you to provide proof of your licences, permits, or insurance during the vetting process and at any time thereafter to ensure ongoing compliance.
2. Basic Professional Standards
Experience:
All Service Providers on Holiday PA are expected to have a proven level of experience or expertise in each service category they offer. As a general guideline, you should have at least two years of professional experience in the relevant service field. This ensures you have the necessary skills to deliver quality service to customers.
Reputation:
You must maintain a high-quality professional reputation. This can be demonstrated through outstanding customer feedback and reviews. Holiday PA takes into account your track record of reliability, professionalism, and customer satisfaction. Any awards, certifications, or features in reputable publications that recognise your work can further demonstrate your positive reputation. Consistently poor feedback or complaints may result in your profile not being approved or being removed from the platform.
Portfolio (If Applicable):
If the services you offer are primarily visual or creative in nature, providing a portfolio of photos or work samples is not mandatory, but it can significantly increase customer confidence and help you secure more bookings. We strongly recommend uploading high‑quality images that showcase your skills and highlight your best work so customers have a clear understanding of the results they can expect.
3. Service Profile Content Standards
In addition to meeting the above criteria, your Holiday PA profile must be complete and meet our content quality standards before it can go live:
Biography:
Your profile must include a clear and informative biography or "About Me" section. In this section, introduce yourself and provide background on your qualifications and experience. Explain what services you offer and what makes you uniquely qualified to provide them. This should be written in a professional tone, be direct and succinct, and give potential customers confidence in your expertise. A well-written bio helps set customer expectations and establishes trust.
Service Offerings:
Each Service Provider must list at least one clearly defined service offering. Additional packages (such as entry‑level, standard, or premium) are optional and may help attract a broader range of customers, but are not required. For every offering, include a clear title, description, and price. If you wish, you may also upload representative photos or videos, but media is optional.
Optional Media:
High‑quality photos or videos are not mandatory, but they can significantly enhance your profile and help customers visualise your services. We encourage you to include clear, well‑lit images or short video clips that showcase your work, workspace, or you in action. All media must be your own or used with permission and should accurately represent what customers can expect.
Valid Documentation:
As part of your profile, you must submit valid documentation to verify your credentials. This includes copies of any relevant licences, certifications, identification documents, or permits required for your services. Holiday PA will review these documents during the approval process. Your profile will not be published without completing this documentation step. Holiday PA may also indicate on your public profile that certain verifications or licences have been confirmed (for example, a badge showing you are ID-verified or professionally licensed), to give customers added peace of mind. You are responsible for keeping these documents up to date; if any required credential expires, you must renew it and update Holiday PA promptly.
Note: Holiday PA reserves the right to reject or delay the publication of your profile if any of the above requirements are not met. Even after meeting these baseline standards, all profiles and services are subject to final approval by Holiday PA's team. Holiday PA's decision on whether a profile meets our standards is final. If your profile or offerings do not satisfy our criteria, Holiday PA may provide feedback and allow you to make necessary changes, or may decline to list your services at our discretion.
Requirements After a Profile Is Published
Once your Service Provider profile is live on Holiday PA, you must continue to meet our standards on an ongoing basis. Maintaining quality and compliance after publication is just as important as meeting the initial requirements. As a Holiday PA Service Provider, you agree to the following ongoing obligations:
1. Honour Bookings and Communicate:
You are expected to honour all accepted service bookings and to communicate with customers in a timely and professional manner prior to and during each service engagement. Reliability is crucial – cancellations or unresponsiveness undermine trust in the platform. If you must cancel due to an emergency or unforeseen circumstance, you should follow Holiday PA's cancellation procedures and notify the customer as soon as possible. Repeated cancellations or failure to communicate promptly with customers may result in penalties under Holiday PA's cancellation policy or other consequences, including removal from the platform. (Holiday PA's cancellation and refund policies for services will govern the specific fees, refunds, or other remedies in such cases.)
2. Maintain Safety and Quality:
You must deliver your services in a safe, lawful, and high-quality manner. All services should match the descriptions and quality standards you advertised on your profile. You are responsible for obtaining any necessary safety equipment or supplies needed to perform the service without risk to your customer or yourself. You must adhere to any Holiday PA safety guidelines that apply to your category of service.
3. Compliance and Insurance (Ongoing):
Continue to comply with all applicable laws and maintain any required permits, licences, or insurance for the services you provide. If a required licence, permit, or certification expires or is revoked at any time, you must cease offering the associated service through Holiday PA until you have renewed or reinstated the credential. Holiday PA may periodically request evidence of your continued compliance (such as up-to-date copies of licences or proof of insurance). You are obligated to promptly notify Holiday PA if you no longer meet any requirement (for instance, if a licence lapses or you lose eligibility to legally work in the region). Failure to maintain legal compliance can result in removal of your profile.
4. Platform Monitoring and Quality Assurance:
Holiday PA will continuously monitor the quality and reliability of services offered on the platform. This includes reviewing customer feedback and ratings, tracking any cancellations or no-shows, and addressing disputes or complaints related to safety or quality. Holiday PA reserves the right to take action if standards are not maintained. Such actions may include warnings, temporary suspension of your profile, removal of specific service offerings, or permanent deactivation of your Service Provider account in serious or repeated cases. Our goal is to ensure that customers receive excellent service; as such, any pattern of subpar service or misconduct will be addressed proactively.
5. Trust and Transparency:
Building trust with customers is essential on Holiday PA. Always be honest and accurate in what you offer and how you represent yourself. Do not misrepresent your skills, experience, or the details of your services. Any content you provide (descriptions, photos, qualifications) must remain truthful and up-to-date. Holiday PA may re-vet your profile and services if significant changes occur to ensure continued compliance with our standards.
6. Profile Updates and Re-Approval:
Keep in mind that certain changes to your profile may trigger a review. If you make major updates – such as changing your service categories, altering your service packages (offerings), or relocating your base of operations to a different city/region – Holiday PA may need to vet your profile again before those changes are reflected publicly. This is to ensure that any new information or services still meet our standards. Always provide accurate information when updating your profile, and allow time for Holiday PA's approval process for substantial changes.
By adhering to these Service Standards and Requirements, you help maintain a trustworthy, high-quality marketplace on Holiday PA. Failure to meet these ongoing requirements may result in corrective action, up to and including suspension or removal from the platform. Holiday PA is committed to supporting you in meeting these standards; if you have questions about any requirement or need guidance, please reach out to us for clarification. Together, we can ensure that customers receive exceptional service and that providers succeed on the Holiday PA platform.
